Review an event
Review an event
Use the event detail page to scrub a clip, read the AI-extracted tags and narrative, and decide what to do next. Every event includes a snapshot, a clip, and an AI analysis block with tags, description, severity, entities, and narrative.
Procedure
- Click Events in the left nav.
- Click the event you want to review.
- Scrub the player with the timeline. Use the +/-10 s skip buttons for coarse navigation.
- Read the AI analysis in the sidebar: tags with confidence scores, description, severity, and narrative.
- Add a note if you need to record an action or finding.
- Click the star to flag it, or Acknowledge if an alert fired for this event.
Common variations
- Low-confidence tags: tags below 0.70 confidence are hidden by default. Toggle Show low-confidence in the sidebar to see everything the model returned.
- Re-run AI: an admin can click Reprocess to re-run analysis after changing the prompt pack or model.
- Ask AI: click Ask AI under the narrative to ask follow-up questions about the event (for example, “was anyone carrying a bag?”).
If this didn’t work
- Player shows “Loading” indefinitely — the clip upload may still be in progress. Wait 30 seconds and refresh.
- AI sidebar is empty — AI may be disabled for this camera, or analysis is still running. See Events without AI analysis.
