Save a reusable view

Save the current grid — layout, camera slot assignments, and page order — as a named view. The next time you open Live, pick the view from the grid selector and the exact arrangement comes back.

Procedure

  1. Open Live and arrange the grid the way you want it — pick a layout, drag cameras into slots, add pages if needed.
  1. Click Save grid in the toolbar.
  1. Enter a name in the dialog (max 50 characters).
  1. Click Save. The view appears in the grid selector dropdown.
  1. To open the view later, pick it from the dropdown. The grid re-loads with your saved layout and pages.

Common variations

  • Edit a saved view: open the view, change anything, then click Save grid again — you are prompted to overwrite or save as new.
  • Delete a view: open the view, then click ⋮ → Delete grid. Other operators who share the grid lose access.
  • Default view on login: click the pin icon next to any saved view to make it your default on next login.

If this didn’t work

  • View did not save — check that the name is unique. Duplicate names within your org are rejected.
  • View opens empty — a camera in the saved view was deleted. Slots with missing cameras show “Camera unavailable”; re-save after fixing.
