Save a reusable view
Save a reusable view
Save the current grid — layout, camera slot assignments, and page order — as a named view. The next time you open Live, pick the view from the grid selector and the exact arrangement comes back.
Procedure
- Open Live and arrange the grid the way you want it — pick a layout, drag cameras into slots, add pages if needed.
- Click Save grid in the toolbar.
- Enter a name in the dialog (max 50 characters).
- Click Save. The view appears in the grid selector dropdown.
- To open the view later, pick it from the dropdown. The grid re-loads with your saved layout and pages.
Common variations
- Edit a saved view: open the view, change anything, then click Save grid again — you are prompted to overwrite or save as new.
- Delete a view: open the view, then click ⋮ → Delete grid. Other operators who share the grid lose access.
- Default view on login: click the pin icon next to any saved view to make it your default on next login.
If this didn’t work
- View did not save — check that the name is unique. Duplicate names within your org are rejected.
- View opens empty — a camera in the saved view was deleted. Slots with missing cameras show “Camera unavailable”; re-save after fixing.
